Stichting Green Unity, located at Buspad 1 in Veldhoven, is responsible for processing personal data as outlined in this privacy policy. We value the privacy of our users and handle personal data with the utmost care.

Article 2 – Special and/or Sensitive Personal Data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data from visitors under the age of 16 unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify the age of our visitors. Green Unity does not retain your personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We use the following retention periods for these (categories of) personal data:

Account data: as long as the account remains active.
Order history: 7 years (in accordance with tax regulations).
Correspondence: 2 years.

Article 6 – Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

Green Unity does not sell your data to third parties and will only share it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We sign data processing agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality. Green Unity remains responsible for this processing. When an agreement is reached between you and a third party on our platform, that third party will process your personal data to process your order. Green Unity uses functional, analytical, and tracking cookies. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Green Unity. Additionally, you have the right to data portability. This means you can request that we send the personal data we hold about you to you or another organization of your choice in a machine-readable format.

Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone at the bottom of your passport), passport number, and citizen service number (BSN) to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and no later than within four weeks.

Green Unity would also like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Green Unity takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized alterations.
