The Ocean Cleanup

This Dutch NGO develops innovative technologies to remove plastic pollution from oceans and rivers. With large-scale systems at sea and so-called Interceptors in rivers, waste is intercepted before it spreads further. The organisation focusses not only on cleaning up, but also on preventing new inflows of plastic. By focussing on data and science, we are continuously working on more effective solutions.
